{"id":895,"date":"2010-06-24T16:12:33","date_gmt":"2010-06-24T22:12:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cookcountypd.org\/blog\/?p=895"},"modified":"2010-06-24T16:12:33","modified_gmt":"2010-06-24T22:12:33","slug":"union-summer-bash-and-trustee-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/local3315.org\/blog\/index.php\/2010\/06\/24\/union-summer-bash-and-trustee-election\/","title":{"rendered":"UNION SUMMER BASH AND TRUSTEE ELECTION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is time again to start preparing for the Union Summer Bash.\u00a0 This year we will be at the Navy Pier <span id=\"lw_1277417212_0\">Beer Garden<\/span>, again.\u00a0 It was alot of fun last year and the best time is yet to come.\u00a0 The party will be held on August 18th, starting at 6:00pm and going to 9:00.\u00a0 After the party, their will be fireworks off the end of the pier.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThis year&#8217;s event will also include\u00a0nominations and an election for Trustee. If you wish to nominate someone, please be present\u00a0at the beginning of\u00a0the party.\u00a0 We will accept nominations until 7:00\u00a0pm and the\u00a0vote will take place immediately afterward.\u00a0 Trustees serve a two year term.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nPlease reserve your spot now by sending a refundable check made out to the Jack Carey Memorial\u00a0Scholarship Fund for $15. Law clerks may attend free, but the attorney they work for, or they themselves, must reserve their spot by sending the same $15 refundable check.\u00a0 Guests of members are also welcome for a cost of $35.
