Far too many innocent people have wound up on death row in Illinois.\u00a0 The General Assembly has passed a bill that would\u00a0repeal the Death Penalty in Illinois.\u00a0 But\u00a0the bill sits on the Governor’s desk.\u00a0 He is mulling over whether to make it the law in Illinois.\u00a0 Here are his options: sign it into law; sit on his hands and let it automatically become law; or veto it.\u00a0Obviously, we don’t want him to veto the bill.<\/p>\n
